Your local Christmas Tree growers offer a wide selection of choose and cut trees and also fresh cut trees, wreaths, roping and gifts. Weekend activities at some area farms include wagon rides, petting zoos and refreshments. Some farms also offer trees to plant in the spring and fall.
Northeast Ohio Christmas Tree Growers (NEOCTG) began meeting in 1998 with farmers from Trumbull County and has since expanded to include members from several other counties. Our goal is to educate the public about the benefits of a Real Christmas Tree.
Group activities include: • Member Tree farms offer choose and cut Christmas trees for the purpose of cutting and creating a fun experience for individuals and families in the spirit of the traditional Christmas holiday.
• Donating trees for use in Operation Evergreen, trees shipped to our overseas troops.
• Sponsoring New Grower Clinics held at existing Christmas Tree plantations. Training and Guidance are available to anyone interested in tree production.
